Fly from Arusha to the southern or western Serengeti depending on the migration herds location. Spend two full days viewing the wildlife in the vast savannah.
This is land as it was in the beginning; no fences, no settlements, just perennial migration of wildlife. Words are barely adequate to describe it, and even photographs and videos hardly do justice to the enormity of the wildebeest migration. It is a vast sea of animals in constant movement, sometime at a slow pace, sometimes running in long lines that seem go forever.
We stay two nights in the seasonally located camp for best proximity to the Great Migration.
Kirurumu Camp Ndutu or Serengeti: (Dec-March) Eco Lodge: ( Jun-August) or similar
After one last morning game drive in the Serengeti, board a bush plane and fly back to Arusha for a farewell dinner before your flight home or continue to Zanzibar.
