Lake Manyara National Park
Next morning after your Kilimanjaro trek drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its elephants, hippos, giraffes, flamingos, and tree-climbing lions. Set out to discover East Africa’s legendary wildlife amid the stunning Rift Valley landscape on your first safari. The lake is a birder’s heaven, it’s frequented by 300 migratory avians.

Today, descend 2,000 feet to the Ngorongoro Crater, where volcanic slopes shelter almost 25,000 animals. The crater doesn’t disappoint. Observe the interactions of predators and prey; spot colorful bird-life and track elephants, rare black rhinos, cheetahs,and more.
Picnic lunch is served on the crater floor.

Maasai Village – Arusha
This morning head out to Ngorongoro Highlands where a nearby Maasai community, far from the tourist circuit, welcomes you into their village for a special visit.
After lunch, travel back to Arusha for a farewell dinner. Depart for Kilimanjaro Airport for your home-bound departure or continue to Zanzibar.
